Tessa Gearing

Tessa grew up in West London. Having gained a degree in Drama at Birmingham University, she worked for many years as an actor in touring theatre and on the radio. Tessa and her husband settled in mid Wales to bring up their family, after which she toured infant schools with a one woman show and ran preschool story sessions for children and their parents for 15 years. Tessa graduated from the Golden Egg Academy’s Picture Book Course, and is now working part time in a primary school and writing picture books.
