Kathy has worked in children’s publishing for thirty years, most of which was spent at Oxford University Press Children’s Books where she managed a busy list of titles for all ages and commissioned fiction from 5+ to teen.
More recently, Kathy has set up her own business as a freelance editor and project manager with clients including Puffin, Bloomsbury, Chicken House and HarperCollins. Kathy has worked with some amazingly talented authors including Ben Davis, Joanna Nadin, Katherine Rundell, Tim Bowler and Harriet Whitehorn.
With a wealth of experience in children’s publishing, Kathy has developed a wide knowledge of the children’s books’ market and loves working with authors on developing their stories.
