Helen Price is a young adult author of high-octane thrillers. After studying languages at university, she built a career in international HR and Change Management, writing mainly boring stuff like corporate speeches and communications, until fiction lured her in. She honed her craft, studying with The Golden Egg Academy and upon completing Mentoring, landed her publishing contract in 2024 with Chicken House Books through the ‘First Look’ deal. Originally from the historic city of Norwich, she now lives in a field in West Berkshire. She has a black belt in karate, loves chocolate, her dog Enzo, and all things thriller-related, both on and off the page. Her debut YA thriller, Kill Me Now, came out in February this 2026.
