Lynwen was the SCBWI Network Orgnaiser for Scotland for three years, receiving an Outstanding Contribution Award in 2023.
Having worked with children for more than twenty years, Lynwen holds a BA(Hons) in Psychology and a PGDE in Education. She is currently a primary school teacher, and the lead contact for the Reading Schools Award with the Scottish Book Trust at her current school, which recently won the award. Lynwen was recently accepted for the course, Developing and Sustaining Reading for Pleasure (Primary) through the Scottish Book Trust. Lynwen was shortlisted for the Writing Magazine Children’s Book Prize in the PB category in 2025.
Currently mentored by the Golden Egg Academy, Lynwen writes Middle Grade with plenty of heart and humor.
