Barry Timms is a multiple award-winning children’s picture book editor and author with over twenty years’ experience. He has also edited preschool books, non-fiction and young fiction works. Barry’s editorial roles include senior and managerial positions at Macmillan Children’s Book, Walker Books and Little Tiger Group, making commercially successful books of the UK, US and international markets.
Barry has twice been shortlisted for the Scholastic Laugh Out Loud Awards for his books This is NOT a Unicorn! and This is NOT a Dinosaur!, published by Nosy Crow. In the USA, his book Love Grows Everywhere won the Bock Book Award for Children’s Literature 2023.
