Barry is a children’s picture book editor with over 20 years’ experience.
He has edited preschool books, non-fiction and young fiction works. Barry’s previous roles include senior and managerial positions at Macmillan, Walker and Little Tiger, making commercially successful books for the UK, US and international markets.
Barry is also a multi-award-winning author of over fifteen picture books. This is NOT a Unicorn!, published by Nosy Crow, won the Stockport Children’s Book Award 2022 and Love Grows Everywhere, published by Frances Lincoln, won the Frances and Wesley Bock Book Award for Children’s Literature. He has also been shortlisted for the Leeds, Scholastic Laugh Out Loud and Nottingham Children’s Book Awards.
