Lisa Williamson
Lisa was born and raised in Nottingham. After graduating from university she moved into a career as an actor. Lisa worked as an administrator at the Gender Identity Development Service in London for two years. The GIDS is an NHS service dedicated to helping under-eighteens who are struggling with their identity. The young people Lisa met here inspired her ground-breaking novel, The Art of Being Normal.
